I am a Freshman at Duke University pursuing a degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I am passionate about artificial intelligence and data science, especially in the fields of sports and biomedical technology. Driven by a curiosity to explore the intersection of technology and human well-being, I am dedicated to leveraging my skills to build creative solutions.

Calculus II with Applications: Topics include sequences and series, the definition of the integral and its uses, Taylor and Fourier Series, differential equations and mathematical models. Weekly labs will involve explorations of applications, techniques, and Theory.

Matrices and Vectors: Solving systems of linear equations, matrix factorizations and fundamental vector subspaces, orthogonality, least squares problems, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, the singular value decomposition and principal component analysis, applications to engineering problems.

Fundamentals of Electrical and Computer Engineering: Students learn core ECE concepts, providing a foundation on which subsequent courses build. These concepts include techniques for analyzing linear circuits, semiconductor and photonic devices, frequency representation, filtering, and combinational and sequential logic.

Algorithms and Data Structures: Students learn how to analyze, use, and design data structures and algorithms in an object-oriented language (Java) to solve computational problems. Emphasis on abstraction including interfaces and abstract data types for lists, trees, sets, tables/maps, and graphs. Implementation and evaluation of programming techniques including recursion. Intuitive and rigorous analysis of algorithms.

Probability: Probability models, random variables with discrete and continuous distributions. Independence, joint distributions, conditional distributions. Expectations, functions of random variables, central limit theorem.

Data analyst on a four-person baseball analytics team that is leveraging Python and data analytics techniques to explore how minute decisions, such as whether to steal a base or execute a bunt, can impact a team's overall run production and expected runs scored. The objective is to develop a robust program that utilizes historical data to advise users on the strategic feasibility of bunt or steal attempts during specific gameplay situations.

Los Altos Festival of Lights Engineering Intern

June 2021 - August 2023

Worked with team of 5 to construct floats and design electronics for community parade

Developed and implemented centralized operating system and “float control system” that can be applied to simultaneously control lights, sound, and pneumatic movements on all floats in the parade.
Redesigned power systems on various floats (including lead float) to eliminate need for generators and air compressors to reduce the parade’s carbon footprint
Made mechanical changes to floats including lead float to ensure that they could function efficiently

Researcher at San Jose State University

Worked on team to use university databases and AI to find bottlenecks to academic success in educational departments at San Jose State University, other institutions, and education system as a whole

Selected datasets and implemented algorithms to automate data extraction, preprocessing, and analysis

Presented findings indicating correlation between large class sizes & poor academic performance.
